Initial Assessment

Laying the Foundation

This first appointment is an in-depth session involving both the horse and their owner or caregiver. Prior to the session, medical history and intake forms will be emailed so that I can review them before this session. We will discuss any issues your horse has currently or previously as well as many other aspects that impact your horse's life.

During the actual massage portion I will request the owner give us some privacy so your horse can get accustomed to our work together without distraction. I will massage, assess, and evaluate every part of your horse's body and make thorough notes so that a treatment plan can be developed that will help your horse get back on the literal or metaphorical track! There is a flat rate of $150 for this assessment. Follow-up sessions are $110.

Follow Up Sessions

Continuity of Care

These sessions take place after the initial assessment and are ideally on a regular schedule (weekly or biweekly) to ensure your horse has the continuity of care that they require to heal and recover. Typically, a series of 6-8 follow-up sessions are recommended after the initial assessment to target the issue and get it resolved. More sessions may be recommended after that point depending on the progress your horse makes. The rate for follow-up sessions is $110.
